PANGCH tree watering bags deliver water deep below the soil surface, encouraging robust root development and helping to mitigate the effects of transplant and drought shock. This innovative method reduces watering frequency significantly and saves money by extending the life of your trees and reducing labor costs.
Our slow-release tree watering bags can hold up to 20 gallons of water in a single application. Typically, it takes about 5 to 9 hours for a bag to empty. However, water release times can vary based on soil type, weather conditions, tree species, and size. In some cases, emptying can take between 5 and 24 hours.
While there is no one-size-fits-all watering amount for all new trees, a common formula suggests 10 gallons of water per week for every 1 inch of tree caliper. Most new plantings require watering 1-2 times per week, or as needed. Adjust your watering schedule based on local weather conditions, soil types, and tree types, especially during periods of drought.
Setting up your PANGCH tree watering bag is straightforward: 1. Wrap the bag around the tree. 2. Zip the two sides together. 3. Fill it with water, but only to 1/4 capacity. 4. Gently lift the two black straps at the top to fully expand the bottom. The bag has a wide fill opening that fits up to a 3-inch diameter hose. The average fill time is 2-5 minutes with a standard garden hose.
PANGCH tree watering bags are constructed of weather-resistant PVC with scrim reinforcement, durable black polypropylene straps, and nylon zippers. Every bag comes with a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If you are not satisfied with your purchase or have any questions, contact us.
